GENWORLD

Commercial UI/UX Design case study

Coming Soon

Problem Statement

In 2018 Bitlife emerged as the single most popular text-based mobile life simulator by millions of players since its release in September 2018. Since being bought out in 2020, nearly all new content has been paywalled and past promises of content ownership were left unmet. While many players have become fed up with the over-monetisation, even forming opposing communities, no alternatives currently exist that have both the equivalent visual and gameplay quality of Bitlife.

Coming into this project I must approach with the perspective of "How can I make a Bitlife alternative that features ethical monetisation, while improving upon what Bitlife has already done in both visual design and game design."
